FULL TIME POSITION AVAILABLE
Central Florida Speech and Hearing Center is seeking a full-time Mobile Unit Technician to join our team. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility, have a good driving record and be at least 25 years of age in order to rent a car when needed.
A minimum of a high school diploma is required. The Mobile Unit Technician must possess adequate computer skills that include word processing and spreadsheet. In addition, excellent communication/interpersonal skills are essential. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Must be certified or willing to be certified as an Occupational Hearing Conservationist by the Council for Accreditation and Occupational Hearing Conservation. Previous experience in a hearing conservation program and an individual who is bilingual (Spanish) is highly desirable. Individual must be 25 years of age in order to rent a car when needed.
Provide day to day upkeep of the Mobile units
Set up and perform hearing screenings with CPU based audiometers
Travel throughout Florida and South Georgia to provide testing
Assist in scheduling all Industrial testing

The Center provides a wide scope of speech and audiologic services to all age groups. The Center provides a broad variety of Audiology services and job responsibilities are tailored to the expertise of the professional and needs of our patients including:
• Standard Audiologic evaluations: pediatric through geriatric populations
• Hearing aid dispensing
• ABR Evoked Potential testing
• Neonatal hearing screening programs
• APD testing
• Industrial testing
